Speciality packaging
WoldPac provides speciality packaging to suit many different uses. It has over 20 years experience of working with both large and small customers. Speciality packaging is used for a whole range of industries ranging from interior furnishings, food and drink, household products and DIY and the gift trade. Some examples of applications are given below:
WoldPac supplies an extensive range of plain, micro perforated and macro punched hole film and bags. These are ideal for bakery and grocery packaging using bi-oriented polyproylene (BOPP) or cast polyproylene (CPP) film.
We have considerable experience of providing the appropriate solution, in food grade films that are suitable for both hot and cold foods such as bakery and grocery produce where freshness, hygiene and presentation are vital. Micro perforated bags, used for bakery produce, ensure that moisture from the enclosed goods disseminates rapidly, allowing them to cool while maintaining their peak condition and crustiness. Other types of micro perforated bags are designed for baked goods to limit the exchange of moisture and keep produce fresher for longer periods of time.
All films can be supplied in a range of gauges and widths and are suitable for use on high-speed horizontal and vertical wrapping machines and sealers. They can be anti mist coated.
Food packaging options include a whole host of styles and sizes including rectangular, side gusset, bottom gusset, self seal, wicketted, bundled and block headed and conform to EEC directive 90/128 concerning plastic used for food packaging and approved by the FDA.
WoldPac provides a complete managed service from design, selection of materials, commissioning of artwork, printing and fabrication to ensure speciality packaging is delivered on time and within budget.
Drink carriers
WoldPac has a number of creative solutions for transporting wine and beer. It has recently supplied a drink carrier that held 4 bottles of wine all perfectly upright and in line in a plastic bag with individual internal compartments. This enabled the printing of customised corporate branding printed on the outside to be seen clearly at all times.
Craft and needlework kit packaging
Point of sale hanging bags are often used by retailers for displaying craft kits. Tapestry and needlework kits are often sold in plastic bags that have a permanently sealed hanging device that ensures visibility of contents and prevents any parts getting lost or separated.
Stretch sleeving
WoldPac can supply polythene stretch sleeving that enables the cost of packaging to be kept to a minimum. Standard boxes or containers can be utilised for several product ranges, with product descriptions being contained to overprinted stretch sleeving that slides over the top.
Tabbards
We also supply polythene tabards, polythene printed vests for use at events and exhibitions that can be used for people identification and publicity.
Bathroom accessories packaging
WoldPac has provided specialised packaging for bathroom accessory products for many years. These include:

Bathroom accessory packaging solutions often consist of a hanger or hook and a polythene envelope or bag to which the hanger or hook is securely fastened. Hooks can be pressed in polyproylene (rigid) or polythene (flexible). Hooks can be ordered in any colour.
Drawstring Bags
A range of drawstring bags with write-on-panel A useful product for small parts and accessories for machine servicing and repairs. Small parts can be secured in the bag, given identification and tied securly in place.
