WoldPac provides custom retail packaging and other products to suit many different uses and requirements. We have over 20 years experience of working with both large and small customers. Specialty packaging is used for a whole range of industries ranging from interior furnishings, food and drink, household products, DIY and the girt trade. Here are some examples of retail packaging solutions and other bespoke products that we have delivered.

Food Packaging

We supply an extensive range of plain, micro perforated and macro punched hole film and bags. These are ideal for bakery and grocery packaging using bi-oriented polyproylene (BOPP) or cast polyproylene (CPP) film.
We have considerable experience of providing the appropriate solution, in food grade films that are suitable for both hot and cold foods such as bakery and grocery produce where freshness, hygiene and presentation are vital. Micro perforated bags, used for bakery produce, ensure that moisture from the enclosed goods disseminates rapidly, allowing them to cool while maintaining their peak condition and crustiness.
Other types of micro perforated bags are designed for baked goods to limit the exchange of moisture and keep produce fresher for longer periods of time.
All films can be supplied in a range of gauges and widths and are suitable for use on high-speed horizontal and vertical wrapping machines and sealers. They can be anti mist coated.
Retail food packaging options include a whole host of styles and sizes including rectangular, side gusset, bottom gusset, self seal, wicketted, bundled and block headed and conform to EEC directive 90/128 concerning plastic used for retail packaging and approved by the FDA.
We provide a complete managed service from design, selection of materials, commissioning of artwork, printing and fabrication to ensure custom retail packaging is delivered on time and within budget.

Drink Carriers

TWe have a number of creative solutions for transporting wine and beer. We recently supplied a drinks carrier that held just 4 bottles of wine all perfectly upright and in line in a plastic bag with individual internal compartments. This enabled the printing of customised corporate branding printed on the outside to be seen clearly at all times.

Craft and Needlework Kit Packaging

Point of sale hanging bags are often used by retailers for displaying craft kits.
Tapestry and needlework kits are often sold in plastic bags that have a permanently sealed hanging device that ensures visibility of contents and prevents any parts getting lost or separated.

Stretch Sleeving

We can supply polythene stretch sleeving that enables the cost of packaging to be kept to a minimum. Plain boxes or containers can be utilised for several product ranges by the use of an outer stretch sleeving that is printed with the product description. Strech sleeving is easily slipped over the outside of the box or container.

Tabards and Printed Polythene Vests

We also supply polythene tabards for use in hospitals and medical environments as well as printed polythene vests for use at events and exhibitions to enable stewards and other staff to be identified easily.

Bathroom Accessories Packaging

WoldPac has provided bespoke packaging for bathroom accessory products for many years. These include: • shower curtains
• non-slip bath and shower mats
• shower caps
• toilet seat covers
Bathroom accessory packaging solutions often consist of a hanger or hook and a polythene envelope or bag to which the hanger or hook is securely fastened. Hooks can be pressed in polyproylene (rigid) or polythene (flexible) and are available in any colour.

Drawstring Bags

We can supply a range of drawstring bags with or without a write-on-panel. These bags are useful for small parts and accessories or for objects with an irregular shape. They can also be used for confectionery, perfume and cosmetic products.

Garment Bags

Specialty bags are available to house garments, particularly during transportation or storage. Our packaging solutions will provide tough closure and optimal protection of clothes for as long as required.
